The best of the DIRECTV primetime lineup
If you’re lucky enough not to have seen either, The Godfather Part I (7pm Prmt) beats all comers any night except possibly for Part II (10.35pm Prmt) BEST FILM OF THE DAY – and they really constitute one film in two parts. They start outside of BC on TV’s 6pm-10pm primetime but the first four episodes, fully half of the excellent first season of the English seaside police mystery-drama, Broadchurch, screen back-to-back from 4pm today on the DIRECTV Channel.
Today’s Number One Film:
Inside Out, 7.20pm HBO2. Watch this if you liked Wall-E, Wreck-It Ralph or Monsters, Inc. Though it doesn’t quite rise to the existential level of Up, or feature the spectacular animation of Cloudy with a Chance of Meatballs or the rock-solid characters of Toy Story or Finding Nemo,
